Wouldn't Change a Thing

Because this is the first year that I haven't worked at all and other reasons, we have fallen on hard times. We live off Brian's 15 hours a week and student loans. We won't be spending the Thanksgiving holiday with our family in Boise this year because of this. We're also facing the probability of moving back in with parents after Brian graduates because we will have no job and no set plan, just waiting. Now this sounds like a complaint but the truth is that I wouldn't change a thing.
Brian and I married and moved to Rexburg not knowing what was in store and only having money for tuition and living costs because of generous gifts (especially one very generous gift in particular) which we contribute to faithful tithe paying. Our marriage has been one of the greatest learning opportunities and joys of my life. We were prompted and made the choice to invite a new spirit into our home over two years ago and have been blessed ever since with ways to provide for her when she came, but not only that, we have been given one of God's most choice daughters to raise. She is so happy and loving. She truly is one of the sweetest spirits I have had the privilege to meet. Not to mention she is such a beautiful child. I would not give away the light she brings to us for anything. Now I have chosen to be a stay-at-home mom which means I don't bring in any income. I am coming to see the good I can do by serving my family and know what I am doing is far more important than any work I could do outside my home. Soon we will be welcoming another child in to our family, relying on the Lord to provide what we need. We don't have a whole lot, but we have always had what we need. Brian is working hard to be able to provide for us. He has goals and he loves our family. We have each other and the happiness that comes to a loving family. Sure we have our problems but I think our blessings out number them by far. Our future looks bright.

Best of Friends

These two girls with Paige are her best friends. They have so much fun together. Paige and Alisabeth (the one on the right), at times, will just sit and giggle at each other. These two families are getting ready to move away in Dec. and Jan. We are really going to miss them.

Halloween

It was a happy Halloween. We dressed up like bugs and went to the apartment complex Trunk-or-Treat. Paige was so cute that she made out like a bandit. She even got a second helping for waving at one guy.
Butterfly, Ladybug, Bumble Bee
Can you see my little baby bump?

Look at our friends!

Not Much to Tell

Not much happened over the last week. I haven't accomplished much at least. Brian got Paige to sleep at night without screaming. Finally she went to bed for me without fussing. I guess that's quite an accomplishment. This week I'm going to get my house cleaned up for our vacation next week. I hate coming home to a messy house.

I've got to brag.

I have the cutest daughter. She has got the greatest personality. She loves to dance and sing and laugh. She charms everyone she meets. People at the store often stop me to tell me what a beautiful/cute baby I have. A couple months ago a cashier looked back at Paige sitting in the cart while the register was computing or something. He got distracted with her. When he turned back around he apologized saying "Sorry, forgot what I was doing, she's just so cute." Just a little over a week ago we were babysitting and the friends of the couple we were babysitting for got back to the house first. We chatted for a minute with them. They asked Paige's name. She recognised the second when the conversation turned to her. She looked up at these friends and did a little twirl, a twirl as girly as they get, flirty eyes and all. Brian and I, of course, thought that was wonderful and laughed about it for a few days after.
Though I think she's the greatest thing since sliced bread, we're having a hard time with her. She has not been sleeping well and screams when we put her to bed. I've had to stand in her room, rubbing her back and singing until she falls asleep. I wonder if she notices somethings not right with mom. Mommy's just not the same with morning sickness. Yet another reason to hope the morning sickness doesn't last long.

Oh Baby!

Food no longer sadisfying; waking up in the middle of the night starving; no energy? It can only mean one thing ... a baby!

We took the test Monday, July 27th. It's positive. (See the little plus sign?)

With all the excitment Paige started celebrating along with us, yelling and waving her arms around, and she just had to hold the test.

I've been oh so sick. Paige and I just hang out. Paige makes messes. I lay around the house and watch. Brian has been a sport having to cook and stuff. I hope this part goes by quickly.

Yellowstone In One Day

We took a trip to Yellow Stone with Brian's mom and sister. It was a good trip though a very long day for everyone. Poor Paige got very fussy without a good nap.
Paige sweet talked Grammy Tami in to buying the owl at a gas station in West Yellowstone.

Waiting for Old Faithful.

I think that the man we got to take the picture scared her.

We got rained on while waiting thus the sweaters. It got cold, but we were brave and toughed it out.

There she blows.

Here at West Thumb Paige got really cranky and also lost her sandal.

Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. So pretty and kind of freaky.

Haha I think this picture is funny.
We saw a few other things but we didn't take any pictures. We were in a hury.
